Responsible for delivery of assigned work, under a module lead or team
lead supervision. Needs to understand technology and quality processes
within Cognizant.
Job Requirement and Skills:
• Working knowledge of the technical platforms of the project.
• Applies design specifications techniques under supervision of the module leader / Project Lead.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science graduates with 0-4 years of experience.
- Knowledge of electrical and electronic components
- Excellent written and oral communication skills MANDATORY.
- Working Knowledge of MS Office tools (MS Excel, MS Word)
- Good team player
Job Responsibilities:

Enter and maintain component data and manufacturer information, product
BOMs, approved vendor lists in global component database
- Review and distribute Product Change Notifications and Product Discontinue Notification to worldwide sites
- Quality review of the component parameter attributes from datasheets

Works closely with manufacturing and engineering teams from sites to
assess component obsolescence risks, and proactively works with
suppliers to identify and implement appropriate alternatives.
- Part of a cross-functional team in implementing product component changes within the Company
