The posts are purely temporary and will be co-terminus with the duration of the project. The details are as follows:
Project entitled : "Preparation & Characterization of SiAION cutting tool inserts"
1. Project Assistant (Level-III)
Vacancy:- 02
Qualifications:- 1st Class M. Sc. in Inorganic Chemistry/Physics/Materials Science with two years of research /teaching experience or 1st Class M.E./M..Tech. in Mechanical /Production/Ceramic/ Metallurgy/Materials /Chemical Engineering or M. Phil (two years course) in Chemistry/Materials Science
Stipend:- Rs.14,000/- consolidated per month
Age as on 01.08.2011:- 30 years (Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC as per Govt. rules )
2. Project Assistant (Level-II)
Vacancy:- 02
Qualifications:- 1st Class M. Sc. in Inorganic Chemistry/Physics/Materials Science Or 1st Class B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical / Production /Ceramic /Metallurgy/Materials/Chemical Engineering
Stipend:- Rs.12,000/- consolidated per month
Age as on 01.08.2011:- 28 years (Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC as per Govt. rules )

Interested candidates are requested to attend the interview as above and bring applications addressed to Director CGCRI, Kolkata giving complete biodata (including name, father's name, date of birth, educational qualification, experience, permanent and present address with phone number, E-mail etc.) along with one self attested copy of each certificate. The original certificates also should be brought for verification. Candidates should report at least one hour before the interview for verification. Interim enquires in this respect will not be attended.
