Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP)
Applications are invited from Male Indian Citizens for filling up 10 vacancies of SUB-INSPECTOR (OVERSEER) Group „B Non-Gazetted on temporary basis likely to be permanent in ITB Police Force. The posts have all India liability and selected candidates can be posted anywhere in India and even abroad. On appointment, the candidate shall be governed by the ITBPF Act and Rules.
Sub-Inspector (Overseer)
Total Post: 10
Age Limit: Age: Between 20 to 25 years (Cut off date for determining the age will be 29-02-2012)
Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent with a Diploma in Civil Engineering from an Institute recognized by the Central Government.
Salary: PB-II, Rs.9300–34800 + Grade Pay Rs.4200/- per month.
Physical Standards:
- Height: 162.5 Cms/165 cms/170 cms
- Chest (minimum 5 Cm expansion) : Expanded 85 cms
Medical Standards:
- Vision: Minimum distant vision should be 6/6 and 6/9 of both eyes without correction (i.e. without wearing glasses).
- Must Pass high grade colour Vision test.
Selection Process:
The eligible candidates shall be issued Admit cards to appear in recruitment test. The date and place of recruitment test will be indicated in Admit card. Candidates will have to undergo the following tests:-
- Height Bar
- Race
- Checking of Documents
- Physical Standard Test
- Physical Efficiency Test
- OMR Based Written Examination
- Interview (40 Marks)
Application Fees:
The candidates belonging to General and OBC categories will be required to pay Rs.50/- (Non refundable) as application fee in form of Central Recruitment Fee Stamp (CRFS)/IPO or Bank Draft. Bank Draft should be prepared in favour of ACCOUNTS OFFICER, DIRECTORATE GENERAL, ITB POLICE, NEW DELHI, PAYABLE AT SBI, R.K. PURAM, NEW DELHI ( BANK CODE-1076). No fee will be charged from SC/ST & Ex-servicemen candidates. The candidates opting for CRFS should affix the CRFS at specified space in application form and get them cancelled as well.
Last Date:
The last date of receipt of applications is 29-02-2012 for all States except for Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Ladakh Division of Jammu and Kashmir State, Lahaul and Spiti District and Pangi Sub Division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, the Union Territory of Andaman and Nicobar Islands and the Union Territory of Lakshadweep for which last date is 07-03-2012.
