South Western Railway Recruitment 2012 – Group C, D Vacancies under Scouts & Guides Quota: South Western Railway (SWR) has issued notification for the recruitment of Group C & D Vacancies against scouts and guides quota. Eligible candidates may apply through prescribed application format on or before 24-01-2012.
Name of the post:
1. Group C: 02 Posts
2. Erstwhile Group D: 06 Posts
Age limit: For Group C: 18-30 years and for Erstwhile Group D: 18-33 years as on 01-01-2012. Upper age limit is as per Govt rules.
Educational qualifications: For Group C: Matriculation or or its equivalent from a recognized board
For Erstwhile Group D: Matriculation or ITI or equivalent from recognized university.
Scouts & Guides Qualification: Candidate should be President's Scouts/Guides/Rovers/Rangers (OR) Himalayan Wood Badge Holder (OR) A Pre HWB Trained Scout leader/Advanced Trained Guide/ Leader/ Captain
Application fee: Rs 40/- for general/OBC candidates. Pay fee through Indian postal order (IPO) from any office (or) drawn demand draft from any nationalized bank in favour of respective divisions
