Job Description:

1. Design of TCL Product Features into network:

--> Understand the Design Parameters,
--> Design the solution into Database
--> Clear ambiguity with NOC
--> Co-ordinate with PM

2. Network Augmentation & Update database

--> Understand network designs and plan the augmentation
--> Explain the plan to peers and team
--> Communicate with Field Operations, NOC

3. Network Optimization & Plans

--> Identify Bandwidth Crunch Areas
--> Plan Re-grooming the network
--> Update the database
--> Schedule the plan in OSS systems

4. Synergy with Team

--> Initiate network activities
--> Feedback to reporting Manager
--> Bring the team to the required level of functional expertise

5. Network Learning & Process understanding

--> Understand the network
--> Communicate with peer goups
--> Learn various tools & systems

6 Problem Management:

--> Identify critical areas of process/service deliver
--> Escalation to reporting Manager

Desired Profile:

--> Degree in Electronics / Telecommunication Engineering

--> Knowledge of SDH /DWDM / SONET technologies

--> Knowledge of Ethernet/IP Technology

--> Knowledge of SDH Multiplexers , GMPLS.

--> Knowledge of OSS systems

--> Hand On experience on Various Vendor NMS/ EMS like Ciena , ECI , Marconi , Tejas.

--> Written & Oral Communication skills.

--> Ability to handle ambiguity

--> Team building.

--> Aptitude to adopt new OSS/ BSS tools ,

--> Committed to service excellence, customer centric, taking ownership of activities, positive and a good listener.

--> Excellent verbal and written communication skills

--> Flexibility, and openness to alternative approaches.
