I am pleased to inform you that Wipro has confirmed its visit at our esteemed institute to recruit BCA and B. Sc. (Maths | Physics | Computer Applications | Computer Science | IT | Statistics | Electronics) students of 2013 batch on 19th March, 2013 in our campus


WiSTA: (Recruitment Programme of Wipro for Graduates):


- BCA, B.Sc (Computer Application/Computer Science / IT/Physics/Maths/Statistics/Electronics) only.

- Graduation – 60%

- Maths or Business Maths as a subject in 12th  Standard is mandatory

- Should not have any Standing Backlogs


WiSTA is a higher education programs run by wipro in collaboration with VIT Vellore. Under the flagship program students get do their Masters degree from VIT and simultaneously get to work in wipro on various live projects.

The entire cost for doing the Masters degree from VIT is borne by wipro which even includes the exam fees, book allowance etc. This programs are for 4 years and all the classes, exams etc are conducted at wipro premises across india. Wipro has trainers /Lecturers from VIT coming over to Wipro and conducting classes for all the WiSTA candidates.

Upon successful completion of these programs candidates are absorbed as fulltime employees of Wipro and are paid salaries as per market standards. The masters degree offered to qualifying students is a fulltime degree from VIT.

During the 4 years of the masters degree, below stipend is paid to the students to cover their personal expenses. Apart from this, other benefits like medical insurance etc is also taken care of by Wipro.


The candidates hired under this program are designated as Project Engineers.

1st year – 11500K
2nd Year – 14000K
3rd Year – 19000K
4th Year – 23000K
