Job Description:

--> Minimum 4-6 Years relevant working knowledge of Enterprise-class Storage from Hitachi

--> Working knowledge of Enterprise-class Fiber Switch/Director Hardware from Cisco, Brocade and/ or McData required

--> Hands-on Experience with Veritas DMP or HDLM

--> Good Exposure on Monitoring and Replication Strategies (Shadow Image, True Copy, USP)

--> Strong Storage concepts on LUN mapping/creation, F/C Switch Configuration and Zoning

--> Minimum 1 year working knowledge on Veritas NetBackup Administration 

--> Minimum 2 years experience on Unix and/or Windows systems administration

Desired Profile:

--> Familiarity with IP Network, WAN and LAN free (SAN) based data backup design and configuration

--> Data protection and backup recovery solutions familiarity such as using virtual tape, disk to disk to tape, data replication

--> File System and Database Familiarity

--> Familiarity with ITIL processes


Required Skills

Essential  - Windows and/ or  UNIX administration, 
HDS SAN administration, zoning and diagnostic skills.
Netbackup v6 and v5, RMAN
TSM on AIX
Remedy
MS Office applications

Preferred –  STK SUN SN6000, STK/SUN 9310 and SL8500 Tape Silos
HSC, library station, 
EDT (Gresham) tape sharing
